Unlock Your Body’s Wisdom: Transform Symptoms into Insights

Your body is a wise teacher. And, you have at least five symptoms you roll with on a daily basis.

Think about that.

And, it’s very common to notice and ignore symptoms or sensations that seem like No Big Deal.

Yet weeks pass and you find yourself at the doctor's office wondering why your jaw hurts. They hand over a mouthguard and tell you to lower your stress.

In other words, this normalized interaction for thousands of people encourages you to ‘turn the other cheek’ or in this case, your jaw missing the cause of why and when you’re clenching! I bet you do know something about this clenching yet no one is asking you.

There is another possibility!

What would it be like to use body discomfort to point you back to the body that didn’t have the discomfort? (I hear a resounding “that would be amazing!” in the distance 😀).

Your symptoms are your teachers. Perhaps your clenching  is teaching you something about your life. Your amazing, brilliantly designed body is flagging you of this fact through pain, part of your built-in feedback system.

What would it be like to use body discomfort to point you back to the body that didn’t have the discomfort?

I’ve helped thousands of humans learn how to USE pain as a yellow flag. And, become aware of the other sensations BEFORE the main symptom. The main complaint is the one that gets you to your doctor. If you practice some nuanced awareness of what I call observing the pre-symptoms before the main complaint, you can head off the jaw pain before it happens (before you ‘happen the pain’ is more precise but weird English) and not wait until the jaw pain to take action.

In other words, you can learn to notice subtler sensations as a clue that jaw pain is imminent!

But, is this just about distracting yourself by going for a walk around the block or taking deep breaths? Those are helpful, and they don’t solve the actual issue.

Whether in your office or at home, you have many sensations that are uncomfortable but normalized that you can use to become your own practitioner or your organization's because body symptoms are mirrored inside teams or projects that matter to you!

How does that work? I’ll walk you through the steps in my next writing mid-month to illuminate how to reduce pain and discomfort immediately.

This IS the through-line of all my work - you get immediate results for you AND the people around you!
