Clinical ACUPUNCTURE with Mary Morrison

Rooted in Wisdom. Designed for Relief and Release.

Ancient medicine for a modern body.

Your body is speaking—are you listening?

If you’re here, something isn’t working.

Sleep is off. Your cycle’s changed. Your energy’s inconsistent.

Maybe your labs came back normal. But you don’t feel normal.

You’re not broken. Your body’s trying to correct and get your attention.

This is where we begin.

Relief that goes deeper than symptoms

I practice a classical lineage of Chinese medicine that honors the full complexity of who you are.

Using Five Element and Classical Chinese medicine principles, along with gentle, targeted approaches from the Dr. Tan and Master Tung traditions, your sessions are fully personalized to what your body needs—on that day.

This isn’t about masking pain.

It’s about restoring your body’s original intelligence.

What we can work on together:

  • Hormonal shifts: perimenopause, irregular cycles, hot flashes

  • Chronic fatigue, burnout, anxiety, or emotional reactivity

  • Digestive disorders or stubborn gut symptoms

  • Sleep challenges or post-COVID reset needs

  • Pain or tension linked to stress, trauma, or unresolved grief

What a session looks like:

  • A calm, grounded intake—without the rush

  • Fewer needles than expected, more space to breathe

  • Gentle but potent techniques to activate your healing response

  • Adjunctive therapies (as needed): moxa, cupping, plum blossom, essential oils, e-stim

  • A sense of being deeply seen—not just treated

This is care that listens deeply.
That treats the whole you—mind, body, and spirit.
Let’s begin.

“I came to Mary seeking desperate help to stave off my Gastroenterologist's plea for me to go back on IV Remicade (expensive biologic drug) to control my flare-up which I had been trying every alternative remedy I could find. Mary worked with my best intentions and her skill set and gentle suggestions to bring about a dramatic and quick return to good health. After a few treatments, I felt much better and now a couple more weeks later, I feel totally revived and confident working with Mary to maintain a healthy, drug free lifestyle”

FAQs

Q: Is acupuncture painful?

Not at all. Most clients feel a calming release or subtle energy shift. The needles are ultra-fine, and sessions are designed to meet your comfort level.

Q: How many sessions will I need?

That depends on your body’s baseline and your goals. Some clients come weekly for a few months, others seasonally for tune-ups.

Q: What if I don’t know what’s “wrong”?

Perfect. You don’t need to name the pattern. That’s my job. We begin where you are.

Q: Is this covered by insurance?

Mary is in the process of joining BCBS/CareFirst. Email to confirm your status or get added to the waitlist.

Q: Can acupuncture support my emotional wellbeing?

Absolutely. Chinese medicine doesn’t separate emotions from the body—it treats the whole system. Many clients find clarity, grounding, and emotional balance through sessions.
