Transformative Leadership: Cultivating a Culture of Care

Happy Lunar New Year to all those who celebrate!

Cultivating a Culture of Care Through Effective Leadership

I'm writing to remind you that true leadership is healing. Humans in charge of directing and strategizing with other humans have the capacity to motivate and inspire from a place of peace and calm. This is the world I’m committed to building. You, too?

This creates cultures of genuine care, humans and companies prosper, as well as our clients and this big, beautiful planet.

Everyone has the capacity to lead with care, calm and presence. In my programs Fierce x Flourish, I teach you 'the how' of being a great leader in a unique way - by intentionally observing your reactivity so you can intentionally design calm and peace.

My skillset is informed by 20 years of combined training in my two masters programs, Chinese medicine, coaching, teaching qigong and meditation, and leading my own businesses.

Integrating Wellness Coaching into Effective Leadership Practices

In past years as a clinical acupuncturist, I treated and coached leaders of companies, business owners, department heads, for years. This was fertile ground for my unique perspective and for my offerings.

Now, I love Chinese medicine, but the business model doesn't suit me. People come to me to fix them.

And, while I’m not hating this, but I'm not loving this either. I am noticing I'm resenting why people aren't solving their own problems once they're relaxed and present.

Pain and stress as far as I can tell, is the body’s wisdom of saying life as you know it needs to change. I know the respected and wise Dr. Gabor Mate would say, it’s the body saying NO.

Symptoms in the body, and in the organizational body, are wisdom and interrelated. As one of my mentors put it, if you’re already at the doctors and there’s a diagnosis, that’s too far downstream. I wanted to catch people falling in.

Chinese medicine is very effective. But what I found most rewarding were the conversations / coaching that went along with it. Because a lot of what was brought to the treatment room was stress around work and family.

The Interconnection of Wellness Coaching and Effective Leadership

Stress is wisdom. Stress is contagious. It transfers from you and permeates into the culture and then everyone brings stress home.

I have a set of simple, yet profoundly powerful skills that uses stress to create calm, creative workplaces. My program is Fierce x Flourish.

Let's talk if you're someone who's in conflict with yourself or others, or dissatisfied running their company and pondering leaving. Maybe you should quit, but let’s make this decision in a peaceful body because a peaceful body is a clear body.

I want you to know that I am a student of the Orphan School of Wisdom with Stephen Jenkinson, I have apprenticed with Robert Duggan and mentored by Jade Duggan, Humaning Well(tm) sensory-based culture creation and leadership coaching. I have trained with Master Yuantong Liu in a powerful healing tradition of Zhineng Qigong.

Effective Leadership in Action: Navigating Stress and Change

My mission is to show people the 'how' of why they are successful (or not) by learning from their sensory bodies to create a more regenerative and thriving world for all. I coach executive leaders, business owners, department heads, and extraordinary humans enduring life rather than being a positive force in it. I help you make a big difference for yourself, and for the other humans in your wake.

Curious? Let’s have a conversation. My programs are either 6 months or a 12 month immersion.

Design your life, your work in the world intentionally.
