Zhineng Qigong Case Study: From ER to Full Recovery
Client: SL, Female, mid-40s
Main Symptoms: Severe loss of balance, difficulty walking, high anxiety
WM Suspected Diagnosis: Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Approach: Zhineng Qigong treatment plan + Hunyuan Qi Therapy via telehealth during 2020 lockdown
Outcome: Full recovery within 3 months. No recurrence.
In early 2020, just as the world edging toward locking down, SL reached out from the emergency room at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC. Unable to walk well on her own, balance was gone, high anxiety and although medical testing was inconclusive, there was concern it could be MS.
We couldn’t meet in person.
But we didn’t wait.
Using text, video, phone, and a few times distancing at least 6’ away outside in a park by my office, I created a Zhineng Qigong treatment plan that focused on one key principle: strengthen the mind and gentle movements to keep blood and energy flowing through her entire body.
We worked with one foundational movement—Hold Qi Up, Pour Qi Down (video circa 2020)—and supported her emotional field through intention, visualization, and Hunyuan Qi Therapy energy treatments.
Within three months, she had fully regained the ability to walk. She eventually fulfilled her vision she held from the start: to walk, on her own, to my office.
“I pictured it every day. I knew I would get to your office.”
To this day, she remains in full remission.
SL had a very strong intention to heal. This is key. There has to be a partnership in healing.
This is what Zhineng Qigong and Hunyuan Qi Therapy offers: regaining trust, confidence and full recovery of all body functions and abilities.
It’s not mystical.
It’s not about fixing.
It’s about working with the body to support what it already knows how to do.
If you’re experiencing symptoms that feel unresolved, unclear, or dismissed by conventional medicine—and you're open to a different kind of care—this may be the pathway forward.
I'm headed to Zhineng Qigong Healing Retreat in Italy for a week to super charge my skills and be of service. I’m looking forward to talking to you when I return!
