HNY! Go Back to Bed

Happy Gregorian New Year!

(brought to you by the Romans)

For all those who are touting the year of the horse, the giddy-up and go.

Go back to bed.

She’s still in the barn.

Wise women know the season to rise and move.

The Horse will arrive with the spring winds.

The snake year is still upon us and she’s not done.

Allow her medicine in to keep transforming you.

And 2026 ...

We are not entering a softer time.

We're entering a braver one.

The Fire Horse is pacing.

Boldness is warming up, ready to charge forward

17 February 2026.

You can feel the energy stirring.

2025 was an awe-some shedding year.

Twas about seeing and experiencing what you cannot drag forward.

Those practices and people that burden you.

(And burden everyone else)

The last few years have been preparatory.

Years of being inside history repeating itself.

Unspeakable things.

Unthinkable things.

Again.

History repurposed.

𝘐𝘵 𝘪𝘴 time for herstory.

Women, it's time.

Your body is wiser than your social media feed.

Your instincts are smarter than the algorithm or the LLM/AI du jour.

Your (nervous) system still knows when something is off.

When you're told your body is wrong at every stage

of life.

At every age.

At every transition.

Doesn’t that make you wonder?

𝘗𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 let it make you wonder.

Trusting any old voice is still outsourcing.

Discernment matters.

Curiosity is not weakness.

It's missing.

Curiosity is how you know who to trust.

And, it starts with trusting your symptoms.

And we need others, so choose teachers and paths

that strengthen our internal compass.

Choose people who encourage you to think and question.

Personal integrity and communal integrity are the strongest when they intertwine and grow together.

Otherwise we get groupthink on one side and ego

trips on the other.

2025 was practice.

2026 is momentum.

Choose your people wisely.

And, live your deep questions.

That's my New Year wish for you.

Now, go get some rest.
