Zhineng Qigong Practice &
Essential Oil Treatment
From the Medicineless Hospital, the Huaxia Center in China, join a Zhineng Qigong class taught by Mary Morrison, MAc, a certified practitioner trained in its lineage.
Delivered within the context of the Autumn season, we'll meditate, move energy, and settle into our own body's intelligence.
No prior experience necessary to attend.
We'll practice the dynamic between two states: Yin, the source, the being of life, tended and deepened.
Yang, the doing, powerful in motion, but only as effective as the Yin underneath it.
Cultivate Yin, and Yang becomes easier to trust. You'll leave class clearer, calmer and more open to possibility than you arrived.
Practice is followed by receiving plant medicine via essential oil, applied to two acupuncture points chosen for the balancing of yin and yang in the Autumn season.
This is another physical reminder that your body is wise.
You'll leave with more than a nice scent. You'll leave with a connection to the oil and the points chosen, and how to let them keep supporting you long after class ends.
Open to all, especially if you're ready to slow down and tune in, and see what shifts when you do.
"The impact qigong has had on my low back has been huge, it feels much more relaxed and stronger, and I'm able to walk farther. My neck muscles from spine surgery are feeling better too, and overall I'm just much more relaxed. My nervous system has definitely benefited." — Marissa, Washington, DC USA
